A few weeks ago I went to the Pasadena Bead Convention
I
tried a free metal clay workshop and got excited about the possibility
of working with it and how nice it would be to make custom pendants out
of it. Metal clay starts off mailable, just like regular clay but when
you heat it, it turns to silver or whatever metal you choose. I didn’t
buy some at the time but I am really thinking about it. Though I really
like the look of silver, I might buy bronze or copper.
I made this little heart at the workshop.

I have a lot of updating to do here, as I really want to become involved with this blog. For the meantime, here's my tumblr, which is a little more updated,
Purple Glass Flower Beads
I really enjoy working with these Czech glass flower beads. I made these dainty little earrings a few months ago. Most of the beads here came from Kandra's Beads, a wonderful bead shop I discovered on my trip to Solvang this winter.

Welcome to Zephyr Wings!
Welcome to Zephyr Wings!
This blog is a place where I will share my jewelry creations and photo cards, write about my ideas and my process, share my inspirations and connect with others.
I like working with wire and glass beads but I’m always eager to learn and discover more and to expand my horizons. My style tends to be subtle, delicate and elegant.
I plan on opening an Etsy shop in the near future. Hope you enjoy my blog.
